Transformers, X-Books, and Fox's Peter Pan and the Pirates. Now there's a logical combination theme for a gallery!

New!The clock will run down one day... Captain James Hook. Of late, I've seen a lot of thoughtful Hook pictures, a few Gentleman Hook pictures, a number of romantic Hook pictures, a handful of funny Hook pictures, and even a couple of My Little Pony Hook pictures, so I decided the world needed more force of nature Hook pictures. This is actually a scene from my fanfic, "Where Dreams Come True," and is entitled "But Not Today." Drawn with pencil, inked and colored in Photoshop 7 (I'm learning how to do my inks in that program, and coming up with some results that I'm fond of). Start and finished in 2004.
This is actually an older picture of Emerald Dawn (see below), from penciled closer to the time when I originally made her up. She's looking much more demure (and much more Sueish) here. Drawn with pencil in 1995 (or thereabouts... hands have always been a weakness, but you can see it very clearly in this older pic), inked and colored in Photoshop 7 in 2004. I'm obviously still trying to figure out how to get shadows to lay right. New!Far Too Sweet.
New!Growl! Emerald Dawn, an old Mary Sue of mine that I recently allowed back into my headspace thanks to the encouragements of Jessica Sanders. She's a Captain Hook Sue, and a female Orion. You know, like that green-skinned dancing chick in Star Trek? Most people throw Sues from magical dimensions full of unicorns and faeries into sci-fi universes. I throw a Sci-Fi Sue onto a magical island full of unicorns and faeries. Drawn with pencil, inks in Paintshop Pro 7, colors in Photoshop 7. Start and finished in 2004.
For those who don't know who this chick is, she's Circuit Breaker, a robot-hating super powered Cyborg from Marvel's old Transformers series. I'm actually fairly indifferent to her, but I felt like drawing another flying female, and she's the one I picked. Plus, I wanted to see if I could get her costume right (and I think I got pretty close). Sketched with pencil, inks, moon and stars done with Paintshop Pro 7, everything else done with Photoshop 7. All done this year (in other words, not more recycled material). New!Take that, you evil robot!
New!*Gasp!* Profile shot of the Marvel character, Cable. Just a scribble done without an on-hand reference, I'm including it because normally I have a hard time with males, particularly non-pretty males (I don't mean unhandsome males... I mean non-pretty-boys) and, even though this is a few years old, I'm still pleased with how it came out. Pencil sketch, completed 1999.
Tyler Dayspring, a relatively obscure Marvel character and Cable's kinda-sorta son (Clan Summers... it's a confused family). Tyler never appeared in the comics looking like this. I used to play on an X-Men based MUSH (text-based online RPG) where he was handled... much better than he was in the comics, and this pic is more or less based off of that (with a crappy background tossed in at the end). Sketched in pencil, inked in Paintshop Pro 7 (because I find the line drawing interface easier), colored in Adobe Photoshop 7. Pencils done in 2000, all else completed in 2004. New!Obscure hottie
New!Bottom of the Pyramid Decipticon political cartoons! Woo! I did not actually draw this one... my conehead Transformers fancharacter, Gash, took over my body and used my hands to draw it. Pointing out that the one dude looks kind of like a cat, or that Gash himself looks like a deformed garden gnome, will do you no good because Gash doesn't care what "squishies" think about his artistic endeavors. Pointing out that Starscream should be aiming in the other direction will get the answer, "No, Starscream should be aiming in both directions, but that was too hard to draw." Done entirely in Paintshop Pro 7, completed 2004.
If you were to ask me (not that anybody ever has) what moment defines the character of Peter Pan the most, I would have to say that it's the moment when he's so full of joy and pride (and that damned ego) that he has no other choice but to throw his head back and crow. So I decided to draw it. Penciled by hand, inked and colored using Paintshop Pro 7. Completed 2003. Cock-a-doodle-doo!
Meow! Mina's fan character Mau, a protective-obsessive Egyptionesqe cat-girl. The outfit was created as a result of Mina's "Give Mau A New Wardrobe" challenge, but I was going to draw the picture anyway. The original paper-pic has a lot more of my scribble plants in the background, but I was too lazy to color them so "chip-chop-crop" and away they went! Drawn and inked by hand, colored in Paintshop Pro 7. Completed 2003.
This is a picture I did of Saba's fan character, Wisp. The bird is his friend, Nightshade the Raven. I have no clue what Wisp is scolding Nightshade over; you'll have to ask him. Wisp and Nightshade penciled and inked separately by hand, combined and colored in Paintshop Pro 7, where the background was added. Completed 2003. Bad birdie! No breadcrumbs!
I've got hooters! Captain Hook, right after getting doused with Spring of Drowned Young Maiden water.
Sometimes, it's just best not to ask. Drawn in pencil, inked by hand, colored in Paintshop Pro 7, completed 2003.
Recently, I've found myself completely spellbound by Raven Enola's Kidnapped trilogy, wherein Captain Hook captures Peter Pan and takes him out of Neverland to raise him as a pirate. As a result, I was inspired to draw the older Peter, "Peter Hook." Drawn in pencil, inked by hand, colored with Paintshop Pro 7, completed 2003. He swings through the air with the greatest of ease...
NOT Micheal Jackson This is Azesh, my own fan character and far-too-central focus of my fanfic Where Dreams Come True. I assure you, any resemblance to Michael Jackson is purely co-incidental. Drawn in pencil, inked by hand, colored with Paintshop Pro 7, crappy background tacked on, completed late 2002.
This is a fan character named Alexandra created by the incredible Tracy Pierce. I actually do like Alex, and Tracy's own artwork and story are amazing, although she was also drawn because of the whole 'I like drawing people with wings' thing. Drawn in pencil, inked by hand, colored with Paintshop Pro 7. Completed late 2002, I believe. The snitch!
Tink in a tree. The FPP&P version of Tinkerbell, sitting in a tree. Some of the colors are wrong (her hat should be blue), because I was going off memory when I colored it in. Oddly, I don't particularly like Tinkerbell; I just like drawing people with wings. Drawn with pencil, I'm not sure what I inked with, colored with colored pencils. Completed in 2001 or 2002.

Obviously still under construction. If the link isn't there, that's because the page isn't, either.
