I don't remember this gal's name, but she was a character I once created for the Toon RPG by Steve Jackson games, which is why her proportions are a bit... odder than the other anthros. I was going for a "Hello Nurse" sort of look. She was created for a cyberpunk parody setting, and is a hacker type, and totally unaware of it when she's getting hit on (which happens a lot). Luckily she has a partner to protect her... a fierce, vicious, belligerent... poodle? Complete with goofy haircut and switchblade knife. The poodle was my Amanda Odom's character. Penciled by hand, inked and colored in Photoshop 7 with a lazy-arse Max Headroom type background added last second. Pencils done in 2001, everything else done 2004. |

Anthro rock star Fenix (because intentionally misspelling a word is kewl). Penciled and then colored with watercolor pencils. Completed in 2000. |

I have no idea whether it was Amanda Odom or myself who was responsible for this guy's creation (or at least his name). This is the evil demon anthro "Dust Bunny." Believe it or not, he's actually a fierce demon, and the "dust" is actually pure, unborn nightmares. Recovering him is the main reason Warden (below) has come into our main anthro reality. Penciled, prismacolored, a few enhancements in Photoshop 7. Mostly done in 2000, but the final enhancements were in 2004. |

One of Chimera's (see below) alternate forms. For some reason, I don't have a picture of her third form. Penciled and then colored with Prismas. Completed in 2000. |

Frighteningly enough, this character is male. Yes, this is a transvestite, superhero koala bear, and no, he's not gay. Like Ed Wood, he likes woman very much, and dressing like one makes him feel closer to them. Part as the same group as Warden, Checkmate, and Redbay. The way the legs meet the body is a bit off, but I like the picture anyway. Penciled, inked, and I have no intention of coloring at this time. Completed in 2000. |

This girl actually has three forms, this being her "mild mannered librarian" form. Her superhero name is Chimera. That should explain the powers and other forms right there. Not part of any of the other anthro hero groups I have running around. Penciled and inked, and I have no intention of coloring this one at this time. Completed in 2000. |

Another one from 2000. Anthro superhero unicorn, same group as the dragon. The "tough guy in battle but a big softy otherwise" type. Done entirely in ordinary pencil. |
|
|
Older picture, from around 2000. Anthro superhero dragon, although I'll be darned if I can remember what her name was supposed to be. Different group as the one Checkmate, Redbay, and Warden are in, although the same world. Sketched in pencil, inked with... not sure. Knowing me, it could even have been Sharpie. Colored with colored pencils (don't remember what brand), a few highlights done with a metallic pen. Normally I'm not much for a green-and-purple color scheme, but I think it looks rather good on her. |

Another picture of Checkmate, this one was hand drawn and scanned like my normal stuff. The original sketch is actually a couple of years old, but the digital niftiness is new. I've yet to discover a way of doing metallics in Paint Shop Pro 7 that I really like, so I went with the comic-booky method instead. Of course, I'm rather new at that, too, so this could be better, but hey, I'm learning (not to mention looking to upgrade my art program). |

Let me first say that I am NOT happy with this one, but I have no shame (well, little of it, anyway) so I'm sharing it anyway. The picture is of Checkmate, the technical leader of the same anthro group as Warden and Redbay. It was done start to finish on computer (not drawn and scanned, like I normally do) and I didn't have any kind of reference (for either man or horse) when I drew it. It was really more of an experiment than anything else. |

This is Tracy's anthroed kitty Patches as Carly from Transformers, Generation One (what I fondly think of as "The Real Transformers"). Why? Because Patches is an 80's girl, and Carly's outfit is such an 80's outfit. That car is the my first ever attempt at drawing a car, much less a recognizable model. It's a bit lopsided, but not bad for a first attempt. |

This is Redbay, a superhero from an anthro group my best friend and I made up many moons ago. Of course, I'm not entirely sure what she's anthroed from... some sort of deep sea something. The character idea behind her is some sort of inner-ocean alien. If you look at her face head on, it's meant to look something like one of those "little green men" pictures you see all over the place, only red. If it weren't for blue tintings, you could see how truly awful her coloring is. My friend had a habit of intentionally designing characters with terrible color combinations, to signify either really bad taste or alieness. In this case it's the latter. |

From the same anthro group as Redbay, this is Warden. Specifically, the warden of a shadow realm and out to catch a few escapees. If she looks a bit... hefty for a female superhero, she's meant to. "I have to provide enough to keep a man warm at night, darling." Personality wise, she's something of a cross between Catwoman and Mae West (not like that's much of a stretch). |
