Answer: For the same reason everyone else does, really. Because I can, and because I want to. Beyond that, however, it's because I dabble a bit in the creative arts and wish to share my work with the world. Like many people who can't make a living off this stuff (and a few people who can), I've chosen the web as my medium for sharing.

About This Site

You may (or may not) have noticed a couple of things about my website:

• I'm trying my best (and generally failing miserably) to comply with a strict HTML 4.01 standard, style sheets and all. This means it looks best in a browser that supports those, although it should certainly still be usable by anything that at least supports tables.
• Despite using style sheets, I'm pretty old-school in my web page design. I don't employ a lot of glitz, both because it distracts me, and because there are plenty of sites out there that do it better than I can.
• It's a work in progress. It will always be a work in progress, but since I don't even have all the pages up that I have spots for in my link-menu, it's even more a work in progress. I'm pretty much operating under the "I'll add stuff when I get around to it" design philosophy.
