Answer: For the same reason everyone else does, really. Because I can, and because I want to. Beyond that, however, it's because I dabble a bit in the creative arts and wish to share my work with the world. Like many people who can't make a living off this stuff (and a few people who can), I've chosen the web as my medium for sharing.

About This Site

You may (or may not) have noticed a couple of things about my website:

• I'm trying my best (and generally failing miserably) to comply with a strict HTML 4.01 standard, style sheets and all. This means it looks best in a browser that supports those, although it should certainly still be usable by anything that at least supports tables.
• Despite using style sheets, I'm pretty old-school in my web page design. I don't employ a lot of glitz, both because it distracts me, and because there are plenty of sites out there that do it better than I can.
• It's a work in progress. It will always be a work in progress, but since I don't even have all the pages up that I have spots for in my link-menu, it's even more a work in progress. I'm pretty much operating under the "I'll add stuff when I get around to it" design philosophy.

Home: I live in a mobile home. Specifically, a Cruiser.

Interests: An assortment of geeky things. I read comic books, play role-playing games, spend far too much time on the internet, draw (lately, mostly fanart for Fox's Peter Pan and the Pirates), write (lately, mostly fanfiction for Fox's Peter Pan and the Pirates). I am also, in case you haven't gathered, a fan of the old cartoon series Fox's Peter Pan and the Pirates. In fact, the theme on the home page is actually derived from one of the episodes... and from the fact that my occupation is somewhat nautical in nature. Other fandoms of mine include Transformers, Ranma 1/2, Batman: The Animated Series, Star Wars, Star Trek, Powers, Narnia, Discworld... I'll add more as I think of them. I'm actually a pretty huge fan of some of these things, but I haven't done any fanfics or fanart for any of them. Most of 'em have bigger fandoms, anyway, and don't need my help. My favorite RPG system is GURPS, but lately I've been playing Mutants and Masterminds and a lot of d20. I may love GURPS, but a lot of the folks I know don't acknowledge life outside of d20. As shocking as it may sound, despite the fact that I am female, I do not play Vampire: the Masquerade. At least not at the moment.
