Evil Decepticon Fleet

Who Are All These People?

All things are relative, and while Fleet and Long Haul would not be considered the 'stars' of the MUSH by a long shot, since all the logs that appear on my log page are from their point of view, they're essentially the stars of my log page. The one thing you can be sure of when you click on one of these links is that the log will have either Fleet or Long Haul in it, but it will certainly not have both.

The entries are in order of appearance, and rather than including a character's official quote and bio, there will be a quote from one of the logs and a quasi-bio from Fleet and Long Haul's perspectives. Entries are being added in the order of their appearances in the logs, and I also hope to eventually get pictures up for everyone, but don't bet on it. I'm behind enough on plain old logs.

Arachnae

Quote: "Oh no... Mixmaster, really. We don't need one of those right now."

Fleet's perspective: Fleet is fonder of Arachnae than he knows is safe, and while this has caused him no end of trouble, it's also provided a number of definate tangible benefits as well. After all, being good friends with one of the top medics of the Empire, not to mention someone who may be considered the one of the foremost experts on Transformer upgrades, can be more than a little useful at times. The basis for their friendship most likely rests on Fleet's natural respect for anyone who might be responsible for bringing him back from the brink in the future, combined with how well Fleet's almost scientific approach to the philosphy of survival seems to coincide with her interest in the process of evolution.

The coward-at-core has occasionally wondered just how much he'd be willing to risk on Arachnae's behalf, but in the end has had to assign it the same answer he does to the question of how far he'll go for the Empire if push came to shove. He'll know how far he will go once he gets there, and until that day no amount of self-torment will provide him with an acceptable answer. Luckily, Arachnae can easily shred Fleet five ways sideways, so he hasn't had to put his friendship to the test in that way.

Long Haul's Perspective: Long Haul doesn't quite get the ruckus that's raised around Arachnae. So she's a good medic. So she worked her way into the Sweeps. So she's had more upgrades than... than... well, MUSH Long Haul wouldn't even know who. So she can kick aft. But still. The Constructicons have built cities. The Constructicons totally kicked ass in the attack on Autobot City in 2005. The Constructicons are responsible for the construction of about every major Ultimate Weapon of the Week the Decepticons feel like throwing against the Autobots. So what does Long Haul get a medal for? For helping to rescue Arachnae after she gets herself beat up by Jazz! Poor, dim Long Haul cannot even find the words to express the level of injustice here.

For all that, Long Haul has nothing against Arachnae personally. Beyond that, she is in his direct chain-of-command, now sharing the 'MSE High Command Liason' position with Long Haul's own brother, Scrapper. Long Haul's world is made up of a very strict hiarchy of alliances. The Constructicons, of course, always comes close, but he will stand with almost any member of MSE against anyone else (exceptions tend to include tapes due to Long Haul's general dislike of Soundwave). After that, he tends to pick and chose depending on any number of factors, although Decepticons are naturally going to come before any non-'Con. Because of this, Long Haul is quite loyal to Arachnae, and will cheerfully get himself beaten up on her behalf if she required it of him. He just doesn't get the fuss.

Obviously still under construction. If the link isn't there, that's because the page isn't, either.
