This is just a small page dedicated to Fleet, the Decepticon Seeker I play on the Transformers 2005 MUSH. A MUSH is basically an on-line, real-time, text-based roleplaying environment, although for a more in-depth explanation you can always follow the link to the MUSH's site. This page isn't for talking about MUSHing, it's for talking about Fleet and hosting my logs from the MUSH. The pastel yellow coward to the left there is Fleet himself.
Name: Fleet
Faction: Decepticon
Function: Warrior
Rank/Position: Rank 2 Trooper despite all attempts to avoid promotion.
Motto: "Fitness is proven by survival, no matter how it is accomplished."
Profile: Fleet is, at core, a coward and consequently avoids positions of responsibility and chances for advancement, because the higher ranked you are in the Decipticon hierarchy, the more people there are trying to take you out to advance themselves. He is surprisingly dependable in combat, where he is motivated by fear of his superior officers (which considerably outweighs his fear of the Autobots) to perform. He's worked very hard to ensure that he has a reputation as being effective enough not to be scrapped but bland and uninspiring enough not to advance. He does have a sneaky streak, mostly because it's useful in developing plans of attack that involve minimum risk to himself. In both pyramid-jet and robot form he can use his laser rifles or ballistic rail guns, but he can only use his rockets as a jet. He is very thoughtful, and claims that in a Seeker, common sense counts as a special ability, but whether or not this is true is up to debate.
Background: Fleet is a factory built Seeker and like most Seekers, he joined the Decepticons because, well, that's what Seekers did. Not doing so would draw attention, possibly label him as a traitor to his kind, and maybe get him shot at even more often than actually joining the military, so he joined the military. Fleet's military record is practically unique in the ranks of the Decepticons. Quite frankly, there is almost no one else out there who had been around as long as he had while at the same time managing to not achieve any signficant advancements. Flee was perversely proud of this fact, and he has outlived numerous partners. He's made a career out of being useful enough not to slag, but uninspiring enough not to promote. Sadly, it could not last forever, and somewhere along the way he got a superior with a bit of brains who noticed that he was actually more competent then he pretended and hence transferred him on to more "glorious" duties.
Stats: A note: the stats are a bit different from tech specs. Most match, but 'skill' on the specs becomes 'Dexterity' here and 'Rank' becomes 'Leadership' and is more a measure of ability than rank. We also have 'Tech,' which is for general technical ability.
Strength: 5
Intelligence: 8
Dexterity: 7
Leadership: 5
Endurance: 7
Courage: 5
Speed: 9
Technical: 5
Firepower: 5
Comments: That's right, folks! My little butter-colored 'Con is a sad, cowardly little weakling, but that hasn't stopped him from being a complete blast to play, as demonstrated by the logs below. There are only a few ready now, but more are on the way as I complete them. If you are a player who is featured in these logs and spot a typo you'd like to correct, just email me, @mail me, or otherwise contact me and let me know, and I'll fix it. Unless it's a Fleet/Fleetwind error. Those stay.

I also play Long Haul on the MUSH. Because there's already a couple of seperate Constructicon log pages, he doesn't get his own page. These are mostly here because sometimes I'm a little ahead of Mixmaster on editing. That, and mine are more readable. ;) (For the interested, the First Constructicon Log Page, hosted by the MUSH's former Scrapper, and the Second Constructicon Log Page, maintained by our current Mixmaster, are also available).
- Preservation Work - My first RP as Long Haul. Long Haul has annoying grunt work to do on the beach. Hook tries to supervise. Long Haul tries to find a way to make him want to go away.
- The Fall of Iahex - For the first time in months, the MUSH has enough active Constructicons to form Devastator (we need at least three active members, we now have four). So the first chance we got, we went out and put a hurtin' on the Autobots. Huzzah!
- Right Of Way - Scrapper and Long Haul hold a B&B (build and bicker). They argue about right of way, and Scrapper pulls the "Big Purple Wing" card. Bah.
- Long Haul On Acid - What the title says. Immediately follows, 'Comcast Destroys The Universe' in the Fleet section above.
- Project: The Most Annoying Thing In The Universe Next To Hook Himself - Hook gets an idea for a terrifying new project.
- Grimlock's Goodbye - Not really. The player we had for Grimlock was leaving the character and wanted one final grand battle first. Long Haul, by himself, goes toe to toe with him. The dope.
- Filing System - A bicker session between Long Haul and Scrapper is interrupted as both are befuddled by Mixmaster. Amazingly, Mixmaster accomplishes this without ever entering the room.
- Faceless - Catechism needs to figure out which Constructicon is Long Haul, so she asks Long Haul for help (very very short log. It was supposed to lead to a training room session with Catechism, but she was guilted into going elsewhere).
- The Masochism Tango - This log is entirely Out-Of-Character! The +tango command is abused in Club Con, and much weirdness happens. Questions are raised about gestalt relationships in general, and how Scrapper treats his dates in particular. Warning for generally weird and occasionally disturbing content, although guys who are squicked by slash are free to keep in mind that this is all in the out-of-character area, and that Scrapper and Long Haul are both played by females, so...
- Why? - Scrapper tries to get Long Haul to work or, failing that, to teach him a lesson about Murphytron's law. Long Haul, typically, remains too dense to learn.
- Incompetent Constructicon Maintainence - Hook, Scrapper, and Long Haul put aside their differences to bitch about accusations made against Constructicon competency by Seeker Axis.
- Green Verdant - Long Haul, the supply officer who's always wanted to be a warrior, encounters Verdant, the Seeker who gave up being a warrior in favor of becoming a botanist. GRAH! Some people just don't know how good they've got it!
- Little Ramjet - Long Haul gets to beat up a seeker! Yay! But it's only training. (I think I may have been running him as just a bit too bright here. Eh.)
- Stressball - Hook and Long Haul take a break from their respective duties (or lack there-of) for a training room bout when Scrapper arrives wanting to discuss managment procedures. With It ONLY Hook, of course.
- Seeker One And Seeker Two - Scrapper is forced to deal with the two most incompetent techs in MSE. Amazingly, neither of them is Long Haul, although he's in the room, too. (The Seekers never get a name in this log, but are later known as Slapdash and Haphazard, the later not to be confused with Hazard. This log immediately follows "Stressball.")
- Toolbox Mystery: Solved - Scrapper solves the mystery of his missing toolkit: Mixmaster had it! But wait! Mixmaster says it that Long Haul was the evil mastermind behind it all! Who shall Scrapper believe?
- Not A Morning Person - The Constructicons finally get around to waking up Bandit, who was repaired in the 'Seeker One and Seeker Two' log. They could have activated him then, but... eh, they didn't feel like it.
- Transform! - Verdant is forced to suffer through a Constructicon build and bicker session. He manages to narrowly avoid having the brothers turn on him (in typical Constructicon vs. outsiders fashion) when Wildrider arrives to turn it into a MSE vs. MilOps arguement instead.
- Late Night Encounter In Cairo - Long Haul gets Jazz into his bed. What?
- No Haul For Long Haul - After his encounter with Jazz, Long Haul's just too worn to even do his job right, so Hook offers an alternate solution.
- Bad Mix - Mixmaster and Verdant discuss the use of terran plants for glue sythnesis, among other things, much to Long Haul's growing horror.
- Get A Real Job - Long Haul and Hook argue about whether or not hauling counts as 'real' work. This might be easier if they didn't keep swapping sides.
- Menacing Menasor Bits - Long Haul normally can't stand Soundwave, but when a member of High Command order him to menace Wildrider he's not going to worry too much about which High Command member is giving those orders. This may come back to bite him in the ass later on.
- Uncharitable - The Autobots invade Carbombya for a charity mission. Of course, they have to violate international law to do this...
- Boozin' With 'Nae - Mixmaster has a new formula for spiking energon, and enlists the aid of Long Haul, Scrapper, and Arachnae to test it.
- Whose Job Is It? Scavenger and a hung-over Long Haul sort out this whole who's hauling business. Then Scavenger gets all mushy and brotherly and Long Haul tells him to go away.
- Dirt - Quick little log of Long Haul and Scavenger discussing a particularly weird rumor while Scavenger digs and Long Haul... hauls!
- Hangover - All of the Constructicons (well, most of them, anyway) have hangovers, but Hook was pranked particularly hard by some mysterious party. The others decide that the guilty parties need to be found, but are too distracted by laughing their asses off at him to actually accomplish anything useful.
- Brewing Trouble - Three Constructicons are in the same room at the same time. Naturally, bickering happens. Special note: the players were referencing old logs that made mention of Long Haul usually being the one to brew ener-Coffee. This was before they knew that referencing ener-drinks at all made Mixmaster's player cringe. Still, this has a few other Constructi-bicker moments that are worthwhile, so I'm keeping it here. Even if the scene is more-or-less retconned, a number of the exchanges that are shown probably happen a million other times in a million other ways with these guys.
- Soundwave's Pet Constructicon - The Constructicons go for an electronic components raid, but something goes wrong causing them to fall apart prematurely. Probably for the best, given that the Autobots would have tossed Metroplex against them if they had stuck around.
- Soundwave Snoops - Soundwave spies on Scrapper and Long Haul bickering and gets a bit of information he hopes to make their lives miserable later on.
- Biggest Ass Ever - Long Haul claims that Hook is annoying! Hook argues that this is not so!
- Stuck On You - Long Haul. Mixmaster. Glue. What more summary do you need?
- Trumpet Practice - Long Haul decides he'll show Mixmaster who's the better trumpet player, and actually starts practicing! He's discovered by music critics Earthscorch and Catechism.
- Trumpet Duel - Long Haul actually does show Mixmaster who's the better trumpet player!
- G2 Splash! - Long Haul. Mixmaster. Two buckets of paint. What more summary do you need? Well, okay, the summary is almost identical to 'Stuck On You,'but we're talking Constructicon antics here!
- Wussy Little Brother - Long Haul is depressed and wants to beat something up. Luckily, Scavenger chooses this moment to show up.
