The
Warrens
Ratty little buildings turn this area of
Cybertron into a maze of steel and iron. Shadows lie everywhere, large enough
to hide whole armies. The smell of fear and death lies heavily in this area,
Autobots rarely come to this area, for violence often occurs as Transformers
attempt to subsist on what they can find or take.

The Warrens. The former haven.. the
former home of the Terrorcons. It had been overrun by the Autobots long ago,
and the Decepticons and Terrorcons have yet to regain it from the grip of the
Autobot hegemony. Reflector is here doing his part to help in recovering this
lost asset. Reflector is here in tiny camera mode. He's running scans and
taking visual recordings of the movements he is finding within this area,
specifically around the Construction Site.
Mirage
cloaks and slips from shadow to shadow, looking for the Decepticon spy
The Decepticon Super Spy is super
small and super senstive to refractions of light in this mode. The Super Spy
can see through most stealth technologies and perception altering devices,
including Mirage's Mirage Field. When the Autobot Super Spy gets into
Reflector's field of vision, he will be able to see the Autobot. However...
luckily for Mirage, Flec is staring towards the construction sight, and has not
sensed the incoming Autobot Spy.
Fleet
is crouched near Reflector, trying as hard as a pastel-yellow-and-white robot
can try to remain hidden, there to lend a han- er, gun should things go wrong.
From them stealth perspective, he is the weak link.
Mirage
pauses on seeing Fleetwind in the distant, then slowly and silently starts
moving in that direction, his gaze fixed on the yellow seeker, guessing he is
guarding something to the seeker's crouching position.
<OOC>
Fleet says, "Erm... I'm not Fleetwind here, 'Raj. ;)"
<OOC>
Mirage says, ">.<"
The Super Spy utters something to the
Seeker kneeling not too far from his location, "Glad you could assist me
here Fleet. Last time I attempted this, a Protectobot managed to ruin my
fun." The truth of the matter is, Flec needs someone to take the shots and
be the distraction. Let's face it. Three tiny robots that transform into a
camera are not as fearsome looking as a Seeker Warrior.
Fleet
nods to Reflector, having enough sense not to reply out loud. Life of late has
consisted of an endless series of tests, training, and patrols, and he was glad
enough for the interruption, anyway, even if he could provide little in the way
of assistance on a pure surveillance mission.
Mirage
continues moving in that direction quickly, still silently slipping from shadow
to shadow under the cover of his cloaking device.
Then something is spotted through the
enhanced senses and sensor suites inside the tiny camera. Mirage's mirage field
was seen through for a brief moment when the Autobot entered the Decepticon's
field of vision. Flec grunts and utters quietly to the Seeker, "I think I
spotted something... coming towards us. Possibly Autobot. May have spotted
you." The lens on the camera slowly turns to try to find the contact
again.
Fleet
frowns as he looks carefully in the direction that Reflector's lens is
pointing. Of course, he doesn't see anything, but he knows to trust Reflector's
senses over his own in this case. He powers up his shoulder weapons to be on
the safe side and prepares to take off, should it come to that, whispering,
"Whatever it is, I'm not seeing it," as he does so.
Mirage
slips into the shadows a couple of feet from the pair, watching the Decepticon
spy and the seeker closely, priming his shoulder missile-launcher in readiness
of the need to defend himself.
"Detected a field of discrete
electrical particles." Flec states this rather matter of factly,
"Along with some motion... I suspect our friendly contact is utilizing
these electric charges to mask his visual presence. It's why you are unable to
see him. It fools standard optical sensors." Flec points his lens in the
direction that Mirage is at, "There. It's over there!"
The
yellow seeker snarls and points his right arm. "Damn it! How am I going to
hit what I can't see? Well, whatever it is, I'm going to assume it's not
friendly, because if it were it wouldn't be hiding from us. Let's see if we can't
flush it out..." He fires blindly in the direction Flec indicates, not
really expecting to hit anything... but perhaps the dust thrown up can provide
more information.
Mirage
evades your Energy Rifle (pulsed mode) attack.
Mirage
grabs his rifle as Fleet fires, the fact that a rifle is floating in mid-air
giving away his position and fires at the yellow seeker.
You
evade Mirage's Shoulder Mounted Launcher attack.
"There he is! Get him Fleet! Do
not let him live!" Reflector doesn't want to have to handle the other spy
himself, Reflector's got orders to spy on enemy defenses. The Camera allows
Fleet to work on Mirage while Flec turns his attention back on teh construction
site.
The
rock that Fleet is crouching behind does serve to provide a bit of cover, and
the yellow and white robot is able to take advantage of it to dodge out of the
way of the invisible Autobot's attacks. Even so, he immediately leaps into the
air. Rocks are all well and good, but he is a Seeker, and needs room to
maneuver. Looking downward, he is able to aim by the position of Mirage's
rifle, and he once more points his arm, extending his index finger as he does
so, to fire.
Mirage
evades your Shoulder-Mounted Laser attack.
The sounds of combat start to become
louder and more frequent to Reflector's side. His attention is not on the
battling Decepticon and Autobot. The super spy has other thoughts to focus on.
The Construction site... he must see if any defensive structures are utilized
to defend the site while there is a fight going on between Autobot and
Decepticon. So far Flec sees nothing... but that could change.
Mirage
dives out of the way of the laser-fire, dropping his rifle as he rolls along
the ground and jumps to his feet, once again invisible to the yellow seeker.
Mirage
strikes you with Shoulder Mounted Launcher for 10 points of damage.
Fleet
finds himself missing the cover he so recently abandoned when the other's
strike catches him in the right shoulder, throwing him back. He drops down a
bit but quickly recovers, swearing as he searches once more for his foe. This
was going to be a very short fight if he didn't come up with some way of
keeping track of the other's movements. Of course, his fights tended to be
sadly short, anyway. He once more fired several pulses in the direction where
the last strike came from, hoping for luck to provide him with a hit.
Mirage
evades your Energy Rifle (pulsed mode) attack.
A flash from the camera is emitted
towards the construction site. The light from the flash quickly envelopes the
entire construction site. Whereever the light hits, the camera records. It's
actually a scanning beam, meaning to map out the entire construction site... at
least the visible surfaces. Anything hidden under the ground or behind the walls
are excluded from the scan. It gives Flec a detailed scan of the external
surfaces. Then swearing fills Reflector's audio recievers. The Super Spy can
hear that Fleet just got struck. The len twists and turns so that Flec can
regard the Seeker warrior that is 'assisting' him. Should Flec jump in and save
the warrior?
Mirage
curses silently as his cloaking field wears off and he dives for his rifle.
Mirage
strikes you with Hunting Rifle for 5 points of damage.
Fleet
snarls as he's hit with the rifle in the left, bottom portion of his trunk.
Still, at least one thing is working in his favor: Mirage is now visible. The
yellow seeker does an aerial backflip, transforming at the end of it and
turning it into a dive. He plummets towards the Autobot and fires his rockets
at the last instance before pulling up and working to regain his elevation.
Fleet
transforms from robot to pyramid jet.
You
strike Mirage with rocket.
Judging from what Reflector is seeing,
the Autobot appears to have the upper hand against Reflector's 'Body Guard'.
Reflector grumbles to himself before transforming. The tiny camera splits in
three and expands as the three components transform into each robot of
Reflector's alternate form. They all produce their guns and lift up into the
air... to get a better view. The trio of robots ascend just in time to see the
Pyramid Jet strike the Autobot with a rocket attack, "About time."
The Super Spy utters in unison.
Reflector's
tiny Camera mode transforms into three component robots.
Mirage
staggers back slightly as the rocket hits him in the chest, then fires a
shoulder missile at the Cybertronian jet.
Mirage
strikes you with Shoulder Mounted Launcher for 13 points of damage.
Pyramid
Jet (Fleet)'s left wing is hit dead-on near the base with Mirage's missile,
causing him to spin out of control for a bit before he finally rights himself,
his flying obviously impeded by his injuries. "This is too much for
me," he whispers over his radio to the other, shame evident in his tone. "I've
got to pull out... do you have what you need?"
And just in time to see the Pyramid
jet slam a rocket into the Autobot... Reflector's components are just in time
to see the return fire. The Autobot Sharpshooter manages to counter-attack the
Seeker quickly, sending a rocket up to meet the jet. Reflector grumbles,
"Suppose I do need to move in and help." Reflector's components fly
towards the action, "Hey, Autobot. Don't like you messing around with our
business!" They all begin firing at Mirage, though it looks like Spectro's
Shutter Gun is a closer mark on Mirage, "Yup." The three components
radio to Fleet in response.
Reflector
strikes Mirage with Spectro - Shutter Gun.
Mirage
swings his rifle around and fires at the Decepticon spy.
Mirage
strikes Reflector with Shoulder Mounted Launcher.
Reflector goes to assist Fleet, just
in time for Fleet to want to turn tail and run. This is what Reflector is
forced to live with. To add injury to insult, Spectro is hit solidly by
Mirage's Shoulder-mounted Launcher. Spectro goes tumbling out of the air.
Reflector doesn't like this one bit... Fleet was meant to be his muscle, he
wasn't supposed to get his hands dirty. Now he's got to fight all alone without
Military Division assistance. Reflector's components look to see where Fleet is
going, before flying at Mirage. Spyglass opens up his flash component and
activates it. A flash of blinding light erupts through the area... meaning to
blind and disorient Mirage.
Reflector
strikes Mirage with their Spyglass - Flash Explosion! attack.
Mirage
stumbles back, dropping the rifle as he's disoriented, temporarily blinded for
Primus knows how long, then he trips on something, not knowing it's his own
rifle and lands on his back.
The
yellow pyramid jet is still flying unsteadily. He radios, "Well, if you've
got what you needed, I'm out of here. If you want to stick around and get your
tail-ends kicked, that's your business." With that he takes off, heading
in the general direction of base, although still ready to circle back once
Reflector disengages.
Fleet
retreats from the area swiftly, outdistancing all pursuit and parting shots.
The trio of mechs have recovered now,
from the initial assault that Mirage made on them. The Decepticon Super Spy
flies high up into the air, and then the triplets dive downwards towards the
disoriented Mirage. Flec wonders to himself why Fleet had such trouble with
Mirage... the Super Spy seems to be handling himself! The three mechs look to
collide shoulders first into the Autobot. On his way down, he heard what the
Pyramid jet said... but the thought of getting some licks in on the Autobot is
too tempting... wait till he gets beaten up... see if it's tempting then!
Reflector
strikes Mirage with Triple Team.
Mirage
winces as the Decepticon spy's attack whams against the side of his helmet and
crawls away, groping for his rifle, trying to locate it by touch.
Reflector lands not too far from
Mirage. The trio of mechs circle around Mirage... they are good at circling an
opponent... or even an ally. It's an intimidation tactic that Flec loves to
employ, "Hehehe..." Reflector chuckles at Mirage, "I love making
people blind... it's so fun!" Spyglass rushes towards Mirage and attempts
to deliver a solid kick to the midsection against Mirage. Flec is toying with
the Autobot.
Reflector
misses Mirage with their Kick attack.
Mirage
continues feeling for his rifle, then his hand closes around the handle,
grabbing it, he turns to fire at the general direction of where one of the
Reflector componements.
Mirage
misses Reflector with its Hunting Rifle attack.
Spyglass missed the kick when Mirage
rolled away and grabbed his rifle. After the missed kick, the three robot
components lift up into the air. As they ascend, Spyglass's rifle is pointed
down towards the Autobot on the ground. A grenade is lobbed downwards. Along
with the thrust from the launcher, gravity helps propel the explosive towards
Mirage's upper torso and head.
Reflector
strikes Mirage with Spyglass - Grenade Launcher.
Mirage
goes slamming against one of the buildings, firing a missile off before he
cloaks.
Mirage
misses Reflector with its Shoulder Mounted Launcher attack.
It is certainly difficult to face the
Decepticon Super Spy... as unlike other Decepticons, Reflector is three robots
in one. So deciding on who to shoot at can be hard. The three robots scatter,
to avoid being struck by Mirage's missile. They laugh at the Autobot as he
cloaks. The Super Spy lacks the sophisticated sensor suites in this mode, that
he has in Camera form... so he's unable to locate the Autobot. The three robots
point to the ground as they flutter towards the west, "I'll take that as
your trying to hide from me Autobot. No matter... I've got what I want. See
you!"
Reflector
begins retreating, leaving themself vulnerable to parting shots from Pyramid
Jet (Fleet), Mirage.
