Transmission from Geist: Fleet. Meet me in the courtyard.

Courtyard

The courtyard itself is a vast circular area, surrounded by the walls of several buildings and designed as a setting for the magnificent central fountain. A few metal benches are arranged conveniently around the fountain, providing a leisurely, restful ambiance. The courtyard provides a place for quiet, well-kept offices as well as the less noisy and hazardous businesses of Nightsiege, but the skyline isn't quite the same... Two of the larger buildings were recycled for repairs and are no longer there after the recent Autobot attack.

Geist is standing a the edge of the courtyard with his cloak powered off. He seems a little more on edge than usual.

Fleet walks in, his step once more light. He's well rested, and has spent the day in... enjoyable activities. He looks around, quickly spotting Geist. However, it's by Geist's partial cloak that Fleet is usually able to distinguish him from other Sweeps. On the other hand, Geist did call him there, and there's only one Sweep present, so... he walks up to the larger robot and cocks his head slightly. "Geist?"

Geist responds to the seeker without facing him, "How do you feel?"

Oh, boy. More interest in Fleet's well being. This is... disconcerting. "Well enough," Fleet answers tentatively. "I'll be put back on active duty soon enough, but I'm already operating at usual parameters."

Geist turns to peer over his shoulder at the seeker. Only his optics are visible as he speaks, "Good. Then we have time for a little ... hunt." The sweeps optics show the grin he is hiding with his shoulder and you can tell something is definately up.

"Hunt?" Fleet's own optics widen in surprise. "You want me to come along on a hunt?" For the second time that the day (the first time being when his usual wingmate, Catechism, compared him with a gladiatorial pit fighter) Fleet's processors are having a difficult time making sense of what he's hearing. "Erm... why?"

Geist turns fully to face Fleet with a wide fanged grin on his face, "Come along? Fleet, you misunderstand. This is _your_ hunt. Im only going to observe." The sweep pauses and lets reality sink in on the seeker.

Reality doesn't sink in on the seeker, it slams him like a transformer sized I-beam. *clunk* "My hunt?" So, what if Fleet says 'No'? Then probably life would be about to get very unpleasant. So instead he says, "Just what am I hunting, then?"

Geist's grin broadens with a sadistic gleem as he says, "Something easy since it is your first hunt." He turns and begins to walk away then calls back over his shoulder, "Grimlock." The sweeps crimson optics are locked onto the seeker to catalog every aspect of Fleets reaction to this news.

Fleet is scared! And disbelieving! "Gah-G... GRIMLOCK?!? Grimlock is /not/ easy, and I can already tell you I can't take him! I'm not ready for that!" And honestly, Fleet feels he never will be. He frowns and kind of skip-runs after Geist as he thinks. Geist is not stupid, and if he wanted to kill Fleet, there were more direct ways to do so. "Wait... was that a joke?"

Geist chuckles darkly, "Partially. Who we hunt is much easier than he, but you must always be prepared for the unexpected."

Geist stops and holds out a datapad. There is some data on the current prey as well as a recent location. "Our Sanctum is set up to track the movements of certain prey. This one has been located here in Cybertron.... and hes alone." The sweep hands the datapad to Fleet so that he may review the data on Foxfire.

<Decepticon> Scourge says, "All patrols, report status."

"Foxfire?" Fleet asks as he stops and accepts the datapad, examining the information. "A cassette-bot. I've encountered him once or twice, I think." Fleet's not entirely positive, because when these encounters happened, Fleet was usually dealing with other things - like Silverbolt. He looks up when the call comes over broadband. He's not technically on patrol, but... he looks over to Geist uncertainly.

<Decepticon> Geist says, "Geist and Fleet reporting. Negative contact. Nothing out of the ordinary."

<Cybertron> Grimlock says, "Huhh. Me Grimlock know you Decepticons spot signal. Now me want to know, you cowards going to try and start real battle with me?"

<Decepticon> Scourge says, "Understood.  All available personnel not already on duty, report to the spaceport."

<Decepticon> Long Haul grunts, "Not on patrol, sir, but I think I can lend a hand." Oh boy! A battle! Nevermind that he's /supposed/ to be helping to build the space fleet...

<Decepticon> Arachnae says, "Well now.. I am on duty, but I am available, Scourge..."

<Decepticon> Chimera says, "On my way."

Geist shakes his head, "We have our own plans. They can handle one dinobot." Redirecting attention to the data, the sweep says, "What do you make of this?"

<Cybertron> Swoop says, "Decepticons no respond. Me, Swoop, say they have yellow back supports!"

<Cybertron> Grimlock says, "Decepticons WEAK. Me, Grimlock say we find /real/ opponent worth fighting. Wheelie, maybe."

<Cybertron> Rodimus Prime says, "Grimlock, Swoop, shut it!"

<Cybertron> Grimlock says, "What? They know where we are."

<Cybertron> Arachnae says, "Depending on structural design and layout, factorning in both primary and secondary functions, there is the distinct possibility that yellow primer has been used on any number of mechanisms back supportive structures. You are in error if you somehow believe that that is an insult, you miscreated aerial abomination."

<Cybertron> Scourge says, "How nice to see that the Dinobots have become the diplomatic entourage for the Autobot cause... did we gut out so many of your previous envoys that this is all the Autobots have left?  It certainly sounds like it... oh, no, Rodimus.  By all means, let them continue.  Their mindless grasps at lucidity, I find amusing."

Fleet looks at the datapad once more. "So this is a practice hunt, of sorts?" he asks. Of course, with all the babbling over the broadbands, things are getting a little distracting, but Fleet works to focus on the task at hand. He'd rather take on Foxfire than Swoop and Grimlock, anyway. "Holographs... might be hard to find. If I can find him, though, I should be able to take him." Actually, Fleet was actually fairly certain, but he made it a point never to sound /too/ confident.

Geist nods, "Good. There are his last known coordinates. Time to hunt." The sweep takes to the air slowly waiting on the seeker to take the lead.

<Cybertron> Grimlock says, "Me, Grimlock bet that seat you sitting in in IHQ while you insult me very comfortable, Scourge. Me wouldn't know, me here in battlefield. Where /real/ warriors are."

<Cybertron> Grimlock says, "You not know anything about that, do you? No. Cut from same metal sheet as Cyclonus and Galvatron. Run away like coward mechs from me."

<Cybertron> Arachnae says, "Blah blah blah, ever consider learning a new line of dialogue, Grimlock?"

<Cybertron> Swoop says, "Me, Swoop, rule skies. Sweeps and Seekers bumbling fools in air. Me, Swoop, fly circles around you, Scourge!"

<Cybertron> Grimlock says, "No. Too busy kicking Decepticon tail to worry about lines."

<Cybertron> Scourge says, "Oh, but Arachnae, that would imply the Dinobots have a single silicon chip between them all as a CPU, and they certainly don't have

that."

<Cybertron> Chimera says, "Can it, you tin lizards."

<Cybertron> Arachnae says, "Now now, Scourge, They have to have at least one.. They can walk.."

<Cybertron> Swoop says, "Me, Swoop, at least built from stronger material than Seekers."

<Cybertron> Arachnae says, "Let me be the judge of that."

<Cybertron> Grimlock says, "Hurrr. Me, Grimlock glad to have proper education on getting new lines. Calling me stupid. Never heard that before. We going to do this all cycle or you going to show you have strut support for change?"

Fleet jumps into the air, a dancer beginning a move that will not end for quite some time, and then transforms. Razor hills. Funny, he could have sworn that he was there just earlier... wait, he was! But no doubt by now the remains of the competition he was watching have already packed up and moved on. He transforms and takes off, knowing full well that Geist can more than keep up.

Fleet transforms from robot to pyramid jet.

Razor Hills

Jagged hills loom overhead, so badly damaged that they're nothing but ripped, rusty metal with still-sharp edges. The ground is covered with sharp fragments, deeply imbedded and impossible to drive over without shredding tires. On all sides are closely-spaced piles of fragmented metal, spires jutting like spears from every angle imaginable, an insane conglomeration of razor blades awaiting the unwary traveler. Fierce winds sweep down from the desert to the northeast, making odd sounds as they howl through the jumble of razor-edged metal. Sometimes it sounds like beautiful but eerie music, at others it sounds like a city of Transformers screaming in their death agonies.

North <N> leads to Energon Spring.

South <S> leads to Radio Basin.

Geist descends from the Sky above Razor Hills above.

Geist has arrived.

<Decepticon> Arachnae says, "Understood, Airwolf."

<Cybertron> Grimlock says, "You Decepticons boring me. Me, Grimlock sorry to disrupt your cowering, be on my way now."

Foxfire stands atop one of the hills, simply staring into the distance, ears twitching as he listens to the broadband. He actually considers heading to where his comrades are, but then decides against it, figuring that he won't be of much help. He rarely is, anyway.

<Cybertron> Arachnae says, "Short attention span theatre is now over."

Pyramid Jet (Fleet) flies in in all his pastel yellow glory! Er, uhm, something like that. The Razor Hills. He's danced over these from time to time... they're a dangerous spot for competitive dance. And Catechism has played storm tag here, a game who's object is to basically dodge storm, lightning, and everyone else until you either crash or are the last one in the air. Humph. Coneheads. Who can figure them? He's looking for something, scanning as he's able, but he lacks any special senses, and is only going by remembered co-ordinates from a datapad...

A Sweep in robot mode is following along behind the seeker at some distance. He doesnt seem to be "with" the seeker, but he does seem to be interested in something.

Foxfire doesn't notice either Decepticon just yet, and can't help but grin to himself as Arachnae speaks over the channel, dispite how much he despises her at this time. He idly sits on his haunches, looking too distracted to really pay attention to anything. But there's still something that's always ready to detect danger, and he's prepared to make a run for it if he needs to.

What luck! Fleet's assigned 'prey' (but boy, is it hard to get into /that/ particular mind frame) is right there in the open, on the torn and ragged tops of these torn and ragged hills. Fleet banks hard, trying to get close enough to harry his target with his weapons. Commence the foxhunt! Is that a horn blowing in the distance? No, it is only the song of the winds through this desolate region.

Geist settles into a high hover to watch Fleet engage the tape.

Foxfire hms as he hears silence, and shrugs, figuring the "conversation" must have ended. He stands, and prepares to sprint in the direction of Iahex, but he stops, a new sound reaching his audio sensors. Blinking once, he looks up, and toward the source of the noise. "Aw, slag." He darts down the hill, searching for somewhere to hide. If it comes to it, he'll activate a hologram.

Silent is hardly how you'd describe this place, which sounds more like screams of agony at the moment than it does eerie music, but Fleet's engines can be heard above that as he approaches the cassette. He lowers his altitude to give chase, making a strafing run as he passes. No doubt he'll shortly have to switch to more maneuverable robot mode, but for now, he needs speed.

You strike Foxfire with Death By A Thousand Papercuts for 7 points of damage.

Foxfire yelps as he's struck, and skids to a stop, whipping around in the process and kicking up sharp bits of debris as a result. He ignores the fact that a few of the shrapnel pieces have managed to penetrate the armor around his legs, as his attention is now on Fleet. Baring his teeth, the tape emits a low growl from his vocalizers, and his optics flash briefly as he takes aim at the Seeker.

You evade Foxfire's Laser attack.

The prey has turned and struck! Well, missed, but the idea was there. The pyramid jet tilts slightly as Foxfire fires, since the cassette-bot has so kindly advertised the fact that he's about to fire by taking a moment to aim first. He begins to turn as he passes the fox, transforming as he does before ending in a spin, right arm stretched towards the other. He doesn't smile, he doesn't gloat, he doesn't growl, he doesn't taunt. He just fires.

The yellow Cybertronian jet unfolds, revealing the robotic form of the seeker Fleet.

Foxfire evades your Shoulder-Mounted Laser Rifle (Pulse Mode) attack.

Comcast has arrived.

Foxfire jumps to the side, narrowly avoiding the next shot. He's vaguely aware of Geist, but he's not the saboteur's problem at the moment. "Come down here and fight like a *real* Decepticon!" he challenges the Seeker, though somehow knowing that it won't do much good. He takes on an offensive stance, and a stream of fire flies from his mouth.

Foxfire strikes you with Fire for 2 points of damage.

Fleet doesn't respond to taunts. Besides, to his mind /real/ Decepticons are built for the sky! Why would a real one fight from the ground? Either way, he doesn't answer, but doesn't manage to dodge, either, as he takes a light singe on his right foot. Well... the paint is a little blackened? He moves that leg back and up a little by reflex and scoots sideways and up a little, almost in defiance of Foxfire's demand that he go down, firing again with his shoulder mounted weaponry.

You strike Foxfire with disruptor for 7 points of damage.

Foxfire finds himself unable to dodge this time, and takes a second to check himself for damage. Not too bad, but he has a feeling that it's only going to get worse. He grunts, somewhat irritated that even with his leaping ability there's a chance that Fleet's too far out of range for a melee attack. So he just sticks to fire and lasers, the latter of which he uses again.

Foxfire strikes you with Laser for 9 points of damage.

Youch! Fleet felt that one, which scores a black line across his wing! Still, his face gives little expression beyond a brief wince of pain as he dives forward at the cassette, breaking from his usual pattern as he reaches out and grabs at him. Fleet won't join him on the ground, so perhaps Foxfire would like to join him in the air instead!

Fleet succeeds in grasping Foxfire, throwing him off-balance.

Foxfire utters a startled cry as the Seeker grabs him, and he does all he can to escape his grasp. He hisses at Fleet, and, like a vicious dog, snaps at his arm.

Foxfire strikes you with Bite for 4 points of damage.

Soaring through the sky is that bright red beacon of JUSTICE and AWESOMENESS, Comcast. He is simply exploiting the lack of Autobots on Cybertron to take in some sights of his home planet.. when he spots a minor amount of scuffle nearby. With a Seeker there no less. Comcast radios Fleet and Geist on a Decepticon-only frequency.. "This is Comcast, picking up some battle. Do you reqiure assist?"

Geist radios back, "Negative. This situation is well under control. You are welcome to observe the humiliation of an Autobot tho."

Fleet has a cassatte-bot attacked to his arm! Argh! He radios back to Comcast, "I think I've got this, Comcast!" even as he increases altitude and shakes his left arm hard, trying to get the annoying little thing to let go.

You strike Foxfire with The Sharp, Sharp Ground for 7 points of damage.

Red F-15 Seeker <Comcast> circles the debacle.. ah. Foxfire. That little creature. "Ah.. very good." he transmits. "Carry on." Comcast decides this is worth a look, and transforms to hover in the air next to the other spectator. He still doesn't know who this Sweep is, but his voice sounded familiar... and given that this is a 'mentor' of sorts to Fleet, Comcast is going to assume, "..Geist?"

The sounds of gears whirring and a jet engine dying down can be heard, as Comcast shifts his form into his natural state.

Unable to keep his grip on the Seeker, Foxfire falls, landing hard on the ground. The result scratches up his armor pretty badly, but it's not the worst damage he's ever taken. The saboteur slowly climbs to his feet, and shakes his head, before looking back up at his opponent. Rather annoyed at this point in time, he fires again. Literally.

Foxfire strikes you with Fire for 6 points of damage.

Geist doesnt respond to Commies question. Instead, he says outloud what he was thinking, "He is getting better. Taking his prey out of its comfort zone and using the environment against them."

Comcast hmms as he ponders the Sweep's compliments. "It is good to hear.. how so is he doing this?"

<Cybertron> Grimlock says, "This the best you got?"

Geist waves a hand like hes explaining something to a child, "Autobots cant fly. Why waste energon on weapons when gravity is their biggest enemy? Also, the rugged terrain makes any Autobot responses slower in coming. This is a good place for an isolated combat."

<Cybertron> Grimlock says, "Hey! Scourge!"

<Cybertron> Grimlock says, "Me, Grimlock fighting Constructicon who think he have more important things to do than you!"

<Cybertron> Arachnae says, "Hey Grimlock, wanna see what Swoop’s insides look like? Look up!"

<Cybertron> Rodimus Prime says, "Same goes with Scourge's, you wanted them extra crispy right?  Or original recipe?"

<Cybertron> Grimlock says, "Hurr. You have more important things to do than her too, Constructicon?"

<Cybertron> Grimlock says, "Well?"

Fleet /thought/ he could take this tape, but now he's less than sure as another stream of fire strikes him in a rather sensitive area. As in, his /other/ wing. He's a flier! What's more sensitive than the wings? This throws him off-balance, but he recovers fast. He wants to run, but spares a look towards the Sweep. He wonders if he could run far enough? Instead he purses his lips and looks down, his earlier calm expression replaced with a combination of anger and worry as he spins a little to provide a less steady target, reaching out and bringing one of his better weapons on-line. No more games.

You strike Foxfire with Rail Gun for 11 points of damage.

Comcast sneers at the Sweep's derisive response. "I am aware of these things, Geist." Primus, let him be right with this name... "I have served my tactical advice to Lord Galvatron himself. I asked what /Fleet/ was doing to exploit the environment, not how the environment could be exploited." It's as if Foxfire was not even there, just an abstract contributing factor to the background.

Foxfire takes a few steps back, wincing, thinking about how long it may take for his armor and paint job to be restored. Stupid Seeker. The little fox snarls, wishing at this point to rip the Decepticon apart, but that's unlikely, even if he *does* get his claws on him. So instead he just stands there, and uses his super-awesome laser attack again. Yay.

You evade Foxfire's Laser attack.

The Sweep slowly looks at Comcast in disbelief. "Perhaps Lord Galvatron keeps you around for comic relief. Are you blind? Fleet is doing exactly what I just said." The sweep shakes his head. "He is learning, faster than some, because he has a desire to learn. This is his first hunt and he will be debriefed accordingly."

Fleet has a desire to NOT BE DEAD, and this often equates to a desire to learn, but hey, six of one, a half-dozen of the other. Fleet increases his altitude a bit as a very /nasty/ idea occurs to him. Then, without warning he bends forward and swings his legs up, diving at the fox, transforming as he dives. And now, his pyramid jet's towing line and grasping hook are released as he tries to snag his quarry, intending to toe him across the landscape.

Fleet transforms from robot to pyramid jet.

Fleet succeeds in grasping Foxfire, throwing him off-balance.

Comcast grunts angrily. "And who selected this arena of battle? Or perhaps you think I am a mind-reader now." His pleasure at Fleet's competency in battle is overshadowed by the frustration he's experiencing with his mentor. Time to drop it, perhaps, Comcast! "But from what it appears, it sounds as if Fleet selected it. And you are right, he is a fast learner." Look at how quickly Flee learned wavy lines = pain, after all!

Foxfire cries out in a sound that's almost like the howl of an injured wolf, one that sounds throughout the area as he is snatched by the jet. He desperately claws and bites at the towing line, though resorts to his lasers again when he discovers that he's currently incapable of freeing himself. With another snarl, and a bit of careful aiming, he fires at the Seeker, hoping to at least force him to release.

You evade Foxfire's Laser attack.

<Decepticon> Arachnae says, "You deal with the Autobots Scourge, I have better things to spend my time on than playing aerial tag with a miscreated cretin."

<Cybertron> Grimlock says, "Swoop, where your educator in flying go?"

<Cybertron> Swoop says, "Me, Swoop, not know. Maybe me, Swoop, scare off."

Of course, it's hard to aim when you're being dragged across razors, which explains more about why the attack didn't hit than anything else. After all, Fleet can't actually see what Foxfire's doing at the moment. After a few moments of the rough treatment, Foxfire is essentially shaken loose from the towline, somewhat worse for wear.

You strike Foxfire with Razor Sharp Planet for 10 points of damage.

<Cybertron> Grimlock says, "But Decepticons supposed to be such better than us, show us all how to fight. Me, Grimlock, confused!"

<Cybertron> Swoop says, "Me, Swoop, confused too. Want to finish fight!"

Foxfire is beginning to look like something the cat dragged in. Covering in scratches and dents, he lies on his side and starts pulling sharp pieces of debris out of a shoulder wound with his teeth. He doesn't move from that spot, wanted to regain some of his energy, and simply assaults the jet again. He's getting sick of having to use ranged attacks.

You evade Foxfire's Fire attack.

Geist seems to be getting more excited the better Fleet does. Silently cheering, the only external sign of the sweeps pleasure is the widening of his optics in anticipation of that final telling blow.

Fire, bad! Which is why Fleet avoids it! He twists as he rises, which is making himself a difficult target, he comes back in for another run. He is doing better, his internal repair systems already working to correct some of the damage taken, but he's grown weary of his fight. He made no promises at the start, but still, this is proving more difficult than he anticipated, and thus he brings his best weapon online, losing his rocket against the stationary target.

You strike Foxfire with Rocket for 12 points of damage.

(Run gotta run can't fight gotta hide...) Foxfire's animal instincts are beginning to kick in; one more hit and he will lose this battle. But there's something inside him that wants him to stay and fight. He does his best to ignore the thoughts telling him to flee, instead focusing on getting at least one last hit before he goes down...

You evade Foxfire's Laser attack.

Once more, Fleets aerial rolls allow him to avoid another laser-strike across up the thrusters. After that last pass he transforms, twirling in the air once more like the dancer he is, flinging out his left arm, fingers spread, reaching out to touch Foxfire with laser-fire of his own.

The yellow Cybertronian jet unfolds, revealing the robotic form of the seeker Fleet.

You strike Foxfire with Shoulder-Mounted Laser Rifle for 8 points of damage.

Foxfire falls to the ground unconscious.

<Decepticon> Scourge says, "Enough of this!  Return to Nightsiege, all of you!"

Foxfire is exhausted. He doesn't even bother to move out of the face of danger; he simply stands his ground, even as the blast hits, and he falls. Weakly, he tries to contact his comrades for help, but he's barely able to get two words out before he slips into unconsciousness, his optics growing dark.

Geist sees the Autobot fall and descends to the ground beside the fallen tape. Motioning the seeker to join him, the sweep grins mischievously as he waits.

Mirage arrives from the Energon Spring to the north.

Mirage has arrived.

Wow! That was way tougher than expected! And really, if Geist hadn't been hovering over him, he's certain he would have turn tail there at one point. But now it's over, and Fleet does as ordered, setting down gingerly on the torn metal ground, looking curiously at Geist and awaiting further... training.

Geist grins at the seeker. "Now that you have defeated the Autobot, it is your right to carry a trophy off the battlefield. Choose your trophy from this battered carcass." The sweep points to Foxys fallen form and waits for Fleet to do the deed.

Fleet has no knife! The Seeker's silly player forgot to include a leaking 0 point blade attack in his application! But luckily there's lots of nice sharp ground about. Because it's awkward to use one's environment for slicing and dicing, Fleet chooses a fairly thin and easy to remove trophy, namely Foxfire's left ear, picking up the cassette to saw it against a razor outcropping of metal 'earth'.

"Well done." Comcast says to the Flee as he decides to leave these two to it. "I will leave you to handling the corpse then.. Fleet, perhaps we should talk later." And with that, Comcast transforms once more and leaves the two of them alone with the Foxy, as his player has been on the computer for far too long this evening already.

Comcast's arms move towards his back as his chest and wings shift themselves until he once again resembles an F-15 fighter jet.

Geist catches Fleet by the arm before he can saw the tape against the ground. The razor sharp blades hidden in his forearms spring out as the sweep grins. "Set the tape down."

F-15 Eagle Fighter Jet descends from the Sky above Razor Hills above.

F-15 Eagle Fighter Jet has arrived.

Fleet looks up at Geist and nods, setting the tape down and stepping back gently before he gives up and turns on his antigravs, hovering a bit above the ground and watching his mentor carefully. "All right."

Geist kneels beside the unconscious tape. Turning the fox form onto its back, the sweep pulls one leg away from the body and positions his blade carefully. With a quick and brutal downward stroke, the sweep severs the right front shoulder of Foxfire. Standing up again, the sweep tosses the right front leg to the seeker, complete with Autobot symbol. "Now we should leave before the recovery team arrives. We will go over your debriefing back at IHQ." And the sweep takes to the air and transforms.

Geist begins shifting and contorting. The wings at his back enclose him in an armored shell and his legs clamp together to complete the fear-inspiring form of the Sweepcraft.

Fleet is already not standing on the ground, so it's a simple matter to just increase power to his thrusters and transform, following after the Sweep. If he has any concern over his upcoming confronta... conversation with Comcast, he doesn't show it. "Yes, sir," is all he says in answer to the other.

Fleet transforms from robot to pyramid jet.

F-15 Eagle Fighter Jet is streaking through the air at full speed. Not entirely sure how that helps him search for someone, but his sensors picked up a couple of Decepticon signals, and if you're looking for an Autobot who isn't responding, a pair of 'Con signals near where the Autobot signal was last heard is probably a good place to start. Air Raid dives towards the ground, checking his forward speed greatly as he homes in on Fleet and Geist.

Sweepcraft [Geist]'s sensors pick up the incoming Autobots both airborne and ground, "Expedite our withdrawal. The tape has friends coming."

Geist retreats from the area swiftly, outdistancing all pursuit and parting shots.

Pyramid Jet (Fleet) doesn't need to be told twice! He increases the power to his jet engines and speeds after the sweepcraft, although now the differences in their speed will no doubt fast become apparent.

Fleet begins retreating, leaving himself vulnerable to parting shots from F-15 Eagle Fighter Jet, Sweepcraft [Geist].

Turning a hard 180 in middeparture, the sweepcraft orders Fleet to continue outbound, he will catch up. Adjusting its trajectory for a bombing run, the sweepcraft lines up on the already unconscious form of Foxfire. As the unicronian targeting systems lock their target, the bombay doors under the sweepcraft open and at just the right moment, a smallish object falls out of the craft. Pulling up hard, the sweepcraft begins making altitude like nobodies business before the device lands. 300 feet, 200, 100, IMPACT! The small device lands directly on the unconscious form of Foxfire with no effect. After all, it was just a reprodiction of the device the sweep took from him at their first meeting. A small sparklie container. Booming laughter can be heard from the sweepcraft as it again adjusts heading to intercept Fleet.

F-15 Eagle Fighter Jet fires off a pair of missiles at the departing 'Cons, despite the fact that the extreme range and the speed with which the pair of 'Cons are leaving puts his missiles at a roughly 0 chance of hitting their targets. He banks left as the Sweep turns around, opening up with his Vulcan cannon, but unable to hit the sweepcraft due to his bad trajectory. Air Raid transforms then, as he identifies what the sweep just dropped the 'bomb' on. "FOXFIRE!" He yells, skidding roughly to a halt next to the prone fox

The underside of the F-15 comes out and down, as the wings and nose pull up and back as the fighter transforms into.....AIR RAID!

As ordered, Fleet takes off, heading back to base.

The sweepcraft before you begins to shudder. The nose splits into legs and the hull seperates and swings back to form the huge armored demon-like wings. Before you stands Geist.

Pyramid Jet (Fleet) transforms and finally finishes the leap he started so long earlier. turning to face Geist. His trainer and mentor. It will be difficult, indeed, to get used to viewing the sweep as such, but that is indeed what he is. And now he gets to reveiw battle footage in between guard duties and whatever else! Ah, well. "I will, sir," is all he answers, despite his own misgivings. As he keeps reminding himself, he's reached the point where trying to be back out may be more dangerous than going forward.

The yellow Cybertronian jet unfolds, revealing the robotic form of the seeker Fleet.
