Skies above Northern Africa

The skies above northern Africa are cloudless and windless, an idle ocean of rich blue high above the sands of the Sahara. The Nile River, the only lifegiving source of water anywhere in the area, flows into the Aswan Dam, providing power to millions of Earthlings in the Middle East. Farther north lies the Mediterranean, and its crystalline blue depths.

Catechism soars down into view from the skies above.

Catechism has arrived.

<Decepticon> Wildrider cackles loudly over the channel.  "Yeeeessss!  This is going to be great!  Finally, some real action than listening to that over energized paperweight Motormaster!  We're going to blow that damn dam apart!  Boom baby, boom!  BWHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

<Decepticon> Fleet erms cautiously, "It's a bit difficult to get energon from rubble.  Perhaps we should leave it in-tact for a bit first?"

<Decepticon> Catechism agrees, "Indeed. We need to extract a useful amount of energon."

<Decepticon> Wildrider sighs after a bit of whining over the channel, "Awwww, really?  Well, we'll get the energon.  THEN I'll blow it up!"

<Decepticon> Galvatron says, "What in the blue hell?"

<Decepticon> Wildrider says, "Hell's blue?"

<Decepticon> Galvatron says, "Shutup, Moron."

<Decepticon> Fleet replies even more nervously, "Conducting one of the raids you ordered, sir."

<Decepticon> Galvatron says, "Someone intelligent explain to me what the hell is going on."

<Decepticon> Wildrider says, "Right right....."

<Decepticon> Arachnae says, "Hmmm? *preoccupied tone with what sounds like someone screaming in the background* It would seem that there is a mission being organized to fufill the energon requirements, sir."

<Decepticon> Galvatron says, "It better involve either the words "Autobot Death"  or "Energon Raid""

<Decepticon> Fleet pauses, then coughs quietly. "Aswan Dam, sir. And yes, the words 'Energon Raid' are involved."

<Decepticon> Arachnae says, "That would be the second sir."

Wildrider hovers over the damn he's eager to blow up. Thankfully, no humans down below have seen the all black stunticon high up in the sky yet. He wrings his hands while 'In the garden of Eden' plays loudly from his speakers.

<Decepticon> Galvatron says, "Good.  I trust someone more competent than a Stunticon is in charge?"

<Decepticon> Wildrider says, "Hey!  I hope so too."

<Decepticon> Arachnae says, "Of course.. A seeker is. *more screaming in the background being picked up by her comm*"

<Decepticon> Galvatron says, "Much better.  An arachnae?  Make them scream louder"

<Decepticon> Scourge makes a rare cameo appearance, people. "Operation: Autobot Death is commence on my end, Galvatron. As we speak, I am en route to Galphose IX to eliminate a long-in-hiding squadron of Autobots. However, *ahem* -- good luck on the dam thing. Really. *Cough*"

<Decepticon> Catechism sighs, "Sir, I can assume responsibility for this mission."

<Decepticon> Galvatron says, "Excellent, Scourge.  We much prefer Autobots getting nails in their chests over...incompetence."

<Decepticon> Wildrider says, "I've got a bomb that'll do that...someplace here."

<Decepticon> Galvatron says, "Someplace here?  How brilliant."

<Decepticon> Scourge transmits, "Suddenly, I take great pleasure in knowing I'm at the other end of the cosmos."

<Decepticon> Arachnae says, "If I work on making the screaming louder sir, I won't be able to hear the monitors if the subject flatlines."

<Decepticon> Galvatron says, "Somehow, brother...that doesn't surprise me.  I'll be sure to film the cannoning."

Pyramid Jet (Fleet), for his part, stands out like a sore thumb, being a pastel yellow tetrajet, but he's not exactly visible at this height. The elevation advantage, however, is about to be corrected. "Catechism? Shall we? I'll keep look-out." Odd. Didn't Catechism just say she was in charge? Well, his tone seems to defer to the female...

Catechism hovers in the sky above the dam, already transformed into robot mode. She glances over at the Stunticon. The conehead doesn't know him, but he certainly seems eager to destroy. After considering Fleet's advice, Catechism suggests instead, "Fleet, perhaps Wildrider should stand watch? He'll get the first chance at any enemies that way."

Wildrider cackles and says to Catechism, "Sure sure, I can cram some bombs in some bot tailpipes first. Alright babebot, let's do this!" He dives down towards the dam, his arms out wide while he makes airplane sounds. God, he really is nuts.

Wildrider soars downward towards the Aswan Dam below.

Wildrider has left.

That sounds good to the jet! His only worry was in leaving the Stuntie unwatched, but as long as Flee stays alert, he should be fine, right? Either way, the pastel pyramid turns his nose downwards and begins approaching their targets.

Aswan Dam

What's left of the high-tech marvel that was once the Aswan Dam is just the outer edges, still firmly anchored to the rock that supported it. The entire center, though, has collapsed, massive chunks of concrete debris washed away like pebbles in the violent flood resulting from the breach. The generators in the buildings to either side have been destroyed as well, though there's no mistaking their destruction for an accident. The sturdy roofs have been smashed, and the generators themselves crushed and overloaded from the resulting fall of debris.

Catechism soars down into view from the skies above.

Catechism has arrived.

<O-Decepticon> Fleet says, "Hey, Nae... this damn dam is broke. Are we allowed to assume a bit of rebuilding was done?"

<RP-Coordination> Michael Briar makes a ruling.  Because humans are gluttons for punishment, sure, they rebuilt.

Catechism notes Wildrider's, erm, 'enthusiasm' and decides that she'd really, really rather have Wildrider on watch than working with the energon cubes. At least she can trust Fleet around energon cubes. She's not so sure about Wildrider. Hearing no objection from Fleet, the conehead calls out, "Good, then. Wildrider, stand watch. Fleet, you and I will extract energon."

The yellow jet transforms and lands lightly outside of the /rebuilt/ and not /crumpled/ dam, because you can't squeeze energon from a rock. Without waiting for orders he points his right arm at the side and blasts a hole in the wall, stepping in and removing the Cube-O-Matic from his cock-pit to commence set-up. He is completely indifferent to the humans around him, although if any approach too closely he will swat them away. In all likelihood, most are running by this point.

Fleet transmits his usual, "I understand and will obey" code.

Wildrider swoops in ungracefully. After all, he is a car in spirit. Wildrider lands on the top of the dam with his scatter rifle in his hand. He calls out to the humans below with a mad cackle that'd make the Mad Hatter afraid of him, "Hahahahahaha! Drop your tools and run you meatbags! We're taking the energy! Got a problem with it? Too bad, me and Mr High Explosive have the final word! Don't we Mr High Explosive?" He holds up a bomb with an electronic timer on it. A happy face has been painted on it as Wildrider says in a high pitched voice, "We sure do Wildrider! Ha. Ha. Ha. Haaaa!"

<RP-Coordination> Fleet says, "Raid in progress.  Probably some pathetic flesh creature or another is calling for help at the rebuilt Aswan Dam."

<RP-Coordination> Silverbolt says, "Lassie?"

<RP-Coordination> Fleet says, "Yes.  Lassie is barking over the air waves."

Catechism follows Fleet's entrance and busily gets to cubing. She also ignores the humans, because Fleet told her that killing them just attracts more attention, and she's inclined to believe Fleet on such matters. Catechism hears some snippets of Wildrider's shouting outside. Well, at least the Stunticon seems to have a lot of liveliness...

Fleet has a serious expression on his face as he works, although he keeps silent, as is his wont in missions, dances, and battles. Still, he occasionally glances up a bit nervously, not happy to be stuck with a roof over his head should opposition arrive.

Silverbolt soars down into view from the skies above.

Silverbolt has arrived.

Wildrider continues to stand on the top of the damn with 'Mr High Explosive' in his hand. He looks out over the damn to the waters behind him and then back towards the two seekers down below at the power station. The stunticon gets a marvously evil idea. He steps off the edge of the damn and glides down about mid way. Looking at 'Mr High Explsoive' he says, "Sorry, it's for terrorists everywhere." He responds to himself in a high pitched voice 'Ok, for the decepticons!' then slaps the bomb on the side of the damn. Wildrider glides back up towards the top of the damn to wait for the autobots.

damn=dam damn it!

Silverbolt streaks by, noticing several Decepticons in the area. Pulling a U-Turn, he awaits for his reinforcements, which should be quickly arriving.

Smokescreen has arrived.

Overpass has arrived.

Catechism is still busy at cubing, blissfully unaware of Wildrider's bomb and the approaching Autobots. She gets a few energon nets ready, in case they have to make a break for it quickly.

Fleet, also, is inside the dam, gathering the cubes into energy nets as quickly as they're being made, so as to allow for a faster escape if opposition shows up.

Hot on the heels of Silverbolt comes an Autobot Hovercraft...however, the vehicle comes to a halt some distance away, only to have Smokescreen dive out the side, transforming in midair to his car mode, speeding his way into the scene. "Be careful, 'bots." he warns whatever Autobots are following him. "We don't want to get any terrans hurt...besides, we might be able to get some information out of them about Jazz!"

As the Sentinel's sleek form pauses above terra firma, a towering collage of black and red springboards from its rails, arms outstretched to catch the air on the way down. "Affirmative," Overpass responds, slamming feet first into the dusty African soil. "I'll cover your approaches while scouring for humans." His rifle raises up, panning left and right over the horizon and, ultimately, towards the Aswan Dam.

Smokescreen's form twists and shudders, and mere moments later, the Diversionary Tactician is no longer there, replaced by a red and blue stock car, engine revving.

Wildrider blinks seeing the concord and the hovercraft coming into view. Wildrider punches his fist into the air and calls forth his scattershot rifle. "Alright! Whoop whooop! Hey, you dregs down there! Get your hulls out of there, we have bots incoming! Fun fun fun!" He looks down at the happy faced bomb strapped to the side of the damn. "Hey Mr High Explosive, time for action! Watch the damn for me!" Then he takes off with a slight crouch. With a thumb selector he turns it to a setting labled 'lots', points the weapon, and begins to spray the area towards the unloading autobots. Red laser blasts lance out of the weapon at nearly ten times a second as the barrel glows brightly with the huge discharge of energy. It comes down like rain all about as Wildrider screams over he blasts, "Yeah! You like that slaggers?! Huh huh! Take that, and that, and that! Hahahahahahhaa!"

Wildrider unleashes its Scattershot Rifle (full auto) attack on Overpass and Smokescreen, striking Smokescreen and Overpass.

Catechism hears laserfire. Wildrider must have engaged the enemy, she reasons. It doesn't enter her optimistic mind that Wildrider may have just snapped and attacked a rock or something. Catechism holds up a hand and says, "I'll go check on Wildrider. You keep up the cubing, eh?" Then, she makes her way out of the hole that Fleet put in the wall. <no attack>

Streaking past, Silverbolt notices the Decepticon atop the dam engaging his loyal companions. targets one named Catechism, the name only familiar from files he has been studying. Without the usual banter he gives before a fight, he says one thing. "STAND DOWN OR BE APPREHENDED!" as he fires off a warning shot.

Silverbolt strikes Catechism with Taser.

Fleet looks up at the sound of weapons fire, then at Catechism as she gives her instructions. He nods and continues his business wordlessly, although his motions are slightly more frantic now, a touch more nervous, like a rabbit that's thinking about running... or a cat that's preparing to pounce. Too soon, too soon... but if they do this intelligently they can get away with a decent haul. Unfortunately... Wildrider's along.

Overpass advances through the torrential downpour of scattershot rounds, throwing a thick forearm in front of his face to keep safe any vital optical areas. His pace isn't crippled in the slightest by Wildrider's manic assault, however -- to the contrary, he seems more emboldened to accomplish his task, even as tiny divets are left in his armored frame. "I would ask you to stand down," he rumbles over the blasting. "But I somehow have a gut feeling that the only way to speak to one possessing your warped sensibilities is with necessary force." Overpass' index digit squeezes the trigger, sending a burst of brilliant photon charges down the line, more to cover the forward momentum of Smokescreen than to accomplish any damage of consequence.

Overpass strikes Wildrider with Photon Rifle.

*ZORCH* "Ow."

So much for that. That sort of maniacal laugh can only come from, of course, a Stunticon. "Is that the best you can do, Wildrider?" he calls out, transforming up into his robot mode, rifle in hand...even still, there's the talk of...a bomb? "Overpass!" Smokey glances back at his comerade. "Hit Wildrider, I'm going after the-"

 And then, ZAP. "...Bomb."

With a changing of parts and that telltale sound, an otherwise Mundane Stock car converts to the Autobot Smokescreen.

Wildrider gets nailed in the chest by the photon rifle from Overpass, which only scorches his paint and dents in the armor with a reddish glow. He snorts down at the autobot and says, "You shouldn't have done that! Oh no no no no! Not at all!" He transforms into his alt mode while in mid flight down to Overpass. As his speed increases, a blue glow surrounds his body to protect him in any crash. Sadly, that can't be said for Overpass.

Wildrider spins around and lands on the ground to form into a black sports car.

Ferrari 308GTB misses Overpass with its Prancing Stallion attack.

The conehead's optics brighten with surprise. Why, a flying Autobot! Will wonders never cease? She takes a solid hit from him, too. Well, Catechism won't stand for that! She gets off the ground, because she at a disadvantage there, and flies after the other jet, sending a peppering of laser-fire after him. Catechism calls out, "Now, what's a plane doing with the Autobots?"

Catechism strikes Silverbolt with laser.

Fleet ... erm, continues frantically scooping Energon cubes into the net? At this point in time, there's no doubt in his mind that they are under attack, which means the sooner they have a load ready for return to NCC, the better off they are. He turns his antigravs on, barely remembering to keep his feet on the ground as he rushes back and forth. (no attack)

"I'll deal with this raving lunatic," Overpass calls out to Smokescreen, releasing the trigger after a few futile blasts at the approacing ferrari manage to only chew up the ground around it. "Just make sure that thing doesn't detonate." He tosses his rifle aside, branding it useless at this point, and stares down the advancing Wildrider. With agility generally unseen by one of his stature, the towering Autobot plants a knee down and waits for the moment of contact, throwing his bulk into the air above the Stunticon. "If it's intimate contact you want, Wildrider, then your wish is granted!" Overpass pivots in the air, fist leading his descent towards the offending vehicle.

Overpass strikes Ferrari 308GTB with Girder Spear.

Smokescreen can't help but wince as he sees Wildrider and Overpass close into melee combat- were he in the same situation with either of them, he'd likely wind up fairly well hurting. But thankfully, he isn't. And so, he rushes towards the dam, every one of his sensors primed and ready, looking for something, anything: Bomb, trap, or maybe even another Decepticon?

Silverbolt takes the shot somewhere in the rear wing, creating a downward spiral. "Jazz" is all he mutters to himself, pulling out of the spiral; inches from ground. Quickly streaking back up, pulling out some more mundane manuevers almost making himself 'sick' in the process. Looking over to the dam, and back at the Decepticon, he targets once again. "Apprehension it is!" Silverbolt's Electric discharger gun turns as he streaks by Catechism.

Silverbolt strikes Catechism with Electrostatic Battery.

Mirage having left the shuttle, eyes the dam after watching the battlefield for a moment, then cloaks and heads for the dam. Slipping towards it, the blue and white spy silently bets there are some Decepticons inside or around it.

Ferrari 308GTB gets nailed, hard. Wildrider, despite all the anti-impact tech stuffed into his frame, crumples and is thrown back against the ground. While in mid air he transforms and skids along his backside before he comes to rest against a large bolder out cropping. Wildrider shakes his head and says, "Ooooh, nice hit autobag. Here's mine!" He lifts his forearm and out pops a rotating multi-barreled machine gun. It spins for a few seconds before death spits out in the form of stinging yellow rounds that split the air towards Overpass

The ferrari 308GTB lifts up and spins around shifting his parts till he forms the stunticon terrorist Wildrider!

Wildrider strikes Overpass with Wrist Mounted Anti-Aircraft Gun.

Catechism is shocked once more, but of a different sort, as electricity crackles over her form. She loses altitude, and nearly collides with the dam before she manages get herself back under control. Catechism briefly send a message over her factional channel, and then lines up a bead on the Autobot, adjusting her arm guns to their gauss setting. As she fires after the other jet, she calls out, "Flyboy, you talk like a drone!"

Catechism misses Silverbolt with her gauss attack.

<Decepticon> Catechism says, "Fleet, we're under attack, as you've probably already figured out. Start netting them as they come, if you haven't already, and be ready to run."

Fleet finishes his first load of energon and closes a net, as yet unaware of the invisible Autobot sneaking up on him. He checks one more time to ensure that the Cube-O-Matic is still operational. He looks up as a message comes over the Decepticon frequency, nods once, and replies same, continuing to net as he goes.

<Decepticon> Fleet transmits his usual acknowledgement code, adding, "I have a full load ready for return home, Catechism."

<Decepticon> Wildrider says, "Hehehe, you said load."

Smokescreen hrrms, looking over the dam...and there! There it is- leave it to Wildrider to plant a smiley face on his implements of destruction. Smokescreen settles his gaze- and his aim on the device...looks like a pretty standard electronic fuse...and so, Smokescreen lets fly with his electricity-scrambling rockets- *FWOOSH!*

They explode around the bomb in a shower of glitter...though it's entirely likely that Fleet might hear the explosion through all that concrete...

Overpass picks himself up and continues forward through the rounds, most of them pinging harmlessly off of his frame. One jams into his forearm, the result of swiping the air in attempt to swat the annoying little projectiles away, drawing a slight trickle of fluid. "You're leaving me no choice, Stunticon," he warns, those baby blue optical lenses shimmering. "As I suspected, you only answer to one kind of language." His gaze continues to sweep just off to the right, making notes of Smokey's progress towards the bomb. He has to keep this psychotic menace occupied, or, if worse comes to worse, shut him down completely.

He transforms abruptly, engines revving up threateningly in the direction of Wildrider. With the eighteen-fold screech of wheels, the semi kicks up the African soil and plows forth. "I hope that worked, Smokescreen," he murmurs to himself, even as he gives Wildrider quite the impressive reflection in his shiny grill. Brace for impact!

Overpass transforms into a semi truck, cool noise echoing. Woo!

Black Semi misses Wildrider with his Die. Just... die. attack.

Mirage reaches the dam, and quickly glances around, Knowing he can pick up any Decepticons on his sensors a lot easier from inside. Then the invisible blue and white spy starts looking for the closest way in.

Silverbolt swirls around the attack, but it leaves him little options in the way of landing safely. Transforming and landing on top of the dam, he looks down by the bomb. Running out of options, he looks back to Catechism. "Somehow, I lost the 'desire' to speak while fighting. . .And I will only ask this once, WHERE IS JAZZ?" exclaims the aerialbot commander as he takes out his Energo-Scimitar. Not even thinking, he chucks the sword at Catechism.

Silverbolt flips up into his 'bot mode.

Silverbolt strikes Catechism with Energo-Scimitar.

Wildrider blinks and transforms quickly spinning his tires and taking off before the tribute to Motormaster can turn him into dirt for some plants. Wildrider cackles swerving and weaving around several rocks, then smashing through another without harm. He looks back and says, "Oooh, you're so dead! Dead dead dead dead! Did I mention you're dead?" The car locks its wheels before spinning around, shifting into reverse and guns it again. Now that he's facing Overpass, a glow surrounds his sides showing a pair of thick black rocket launchers. A pair of missiles streak out towards Overpass, hoping to slam into him and make a big boom.

Wildrider spins around and lands on the ground to form into a black sports car.

Ferrari 308GTB misses Black Semi with its Hydra Rocket attack.

Catechism is still feeling rather off from that electric strike and is neatly impaled by that sword. Her optics dim with pain, and her frame rattling unsteadily, she stifles a whimper. No Autobot pseudo-Seeker is going to make her cry out with pain, not today! All, right this one talks like a drone, and fights like... a thing that fight well. She glares balefully at her foe and snipes at him with an arm gun - just one; she's got her other hand clutched to her wounds. Despite the pain, the conehead suggests mockingly, "Jazz? That drivel that the natives call music? Have you tried tuning into the Terrans' radio frequencies?"

Catechism strikes Silverbolt with Zap!.

<Decepticon> Catechism tunes into her own faction's radio frequency. "I think it's time that we pull out. We have the energon and incurring any more damage will be futile."

<Decepticon> Fleet transmits his "I understand and will obey" code.  Boy, he's boring in combat!

Fleet transmits something over Decepticon frequencies, grabs his net full of yummy yummy energon, and runs full speed for the hole he put in the wall, his bootjets already humming and his antigravs turned on sufficiently that his feet don't even hit the ground, making the progress of the huge robot across the room eerily silent.

The Stunticon rockets swarm to either side of the space in front of Overpass, closing in rapidly and detonating in a spectacular display of orange hues. Shattered stone fragments, shredded plantlife and random bits of soil spray in all directions, a thick haze of smoke settling down over the battlefield. The fog begins to disperse from the crater, sketchy movements visible through the curtain.

A flash of azure is briefly seen, followed by a rather large gauntlet penetrating the smoke, wispy trail clinging on. "I briefly recall something like being mentioned," a voice booms as metal seeks out metal.

Overpass transforms from semi to robot, cool noise echoing. Woo!

Something like THAT, dammit.

Overpass strikes Ferrari 308GTB with Backhand Slap.

Mirage finds a way in, a hole and starts to slip inside. His optics suddenly fix on the yellow seeker running towards as he remembers he has a score to settle with that one. Then the blue and white spy prepares to grab the seeker. Maybe they would have a better chance of finding Jazz if they had a Decepticon prisoner to interrogate.

You evade Mirage's grasp attack.

Smokescreen grins as the lights on Wildrider's explosive device fade out and cease to be a threat. That's one less thing to worry about. Now, back to the matter at hand...namely, that gash he's got in his armor. While not vain, as Sunstreaker or Tracks are, the tactician's got a grudge. Payback is, after all, sweet. Smokescreen settles his aim on the Ferrari, raising his left hand, fingertips drawing back to reveal the machine guns concealed there.

 *BRAKABRAKABRAKABRAKABRAKA!*

 "I love that sound."

Smokescreen strikes Ferrari 308GTB with Fifty Caliber Fingertips!.

Silverbolt takes the hit in the shoulder, but continues to stare at Catechism. "No, you know WHO I am referring to AND you WILL TELL ME WHERE HE IS!" he starts to yell, while pulling out a simple laser rifle. He aims and shoots.

Silverbolt misses Catechism with its Laser bolt barrage attack.

"I'm not telling you anything! Except perhaps that those wings really don't suit you, Autobot," the conehead says cheerily. Catechism grins the grin of someone who knows something. Maybe it's what happened to Jazz. Maybe it's something else, like, oh... that she's going to get out of here. Now. Catechism flips into jet mode and tactically relocates.

Catechism transforms into her alternate mode: a F-35, Marine Corps variant. Her feet flip up against her shins, her nosecone rotates through her body and out in front where it belongs, her arms tuck into her torso, and her wings rotate into position.

Catechism retreats from the area swiftly, outdistancing all pursuit and parting shots.

<Decepticon> Catechism says, "Fleet! Wildrider! Grab the energon and get out of there!"

Not that many are likely to know this, but a key to Cybertonian Aerial Dance is a strong awareness of those around you, as many of the acrobatic and aerobatic maneuvers employed become dangerous to the senseless. Thus it is that Fleet, partially though instinct and partially through the blessings of the randomizing factors of reality, is able to twist to the side just enough to slip through the Autobot's grasp. Dammit! There was a fourth here that he didn't know about! Still, it changes nothing as he leaps through the hole in the wall and transforms, taking off on tetrajet mode and trailing his net full of energon behind him. No one says it out loud, but the words can still be heard in the absence of vocalization: "Decepticons, retreat!"

Fleet begins retreating, leaving himself vulnerable to parting shots from F-35 <Catechism>.

F-35 <Catechism> soars upward into the sky.

F-35 <Catechism> has left.

Ferrari 308GTB flies backward flipping before crashing into the ground to dig a nice furrow in the dirt. Transforming he ends up on his back and looks up at the sky. He snaps his head up looking down at his cracked, dented, and sparking body. "Ooow, slag this! Slag you! Slag this whole thing! Slag your energon Catechism, I'm outta here!" He takes off into the sky and says, "But before I go! Mr High Explosive has something to say!" He holds up the detonator to his bomb. It's painted with a smiley face as well. Wildrider says in a high pitched voice, "Boom baby! Boom!" Wildrider pushes the button with a bleep. Then nothing! Wildrider looks sad and says, "You failed me, Mr High Explosive." Dropping the detonator, Wildrider speeds off into the sky.

The ferrari 308GTB lifts up and spins around shifting his parts till he forms the stunticon terrorist Wildrider!

Wildrider begins retreating, leaving itself vulnerable to parting shots from Mirage, Overpass, Smokescreen, Silverbolt, Pyramid Jet (Fleet).

Ah, Decepticons running away- it's a wonderful, wonderful sight...except for the matter of Fleet with that glowy pink energon. Well, shoot. Even still, Smokescreen lowers his weapon, surveying the scene. "Silverbolt!" he calls out "Cool it...we can pump the 'cons for information later...on OUR terms. I've already got a few ideas..."

Silverbolt stands atop the tower, still staring off where Catechism flew off. He notices the retreating Decepticon, but decides not to do anything. He begins to walk down the massive dam, when he hears mutters from Smokescreen.

============================ BB Post in Progress =============================

Group:  Decepticon

Title:  Energon Raid Report

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Fleet appears on screen. He's dirty, but otherwise completely unscratched. He has a skittish look to him, like he's worried someone might through screen and thwap him.

"Catechism, Wildrider, and myself conducted an energon raid on Aswan Dam. Silverbolt, Smokescreen," here Fleet consults another screen next to him, checking a name, "and Overpass arrived on-scene and attempted to interfere. I have reason to suspect a cloaker, perhaps Mirage," hey, it was the only Autobot cloaker whose name Fleet knows about off-hand, even if there are more! "was also on-scene. Catechism and Wildrider distracted enemy forces while I gathered the energon." Well, that would explain why the seeker managed to avoid scuffing his pretty pastel yellow paint job. "Due to the heavy resistance encountered, we were only able to get out with one load of twenty energon cubes." He pauses, as though considering whether or not to say more, then finally plows on, "The Autobots expressed concern over the whereabouts of their missing teammate." Ah, understatement! "Decepticon forces engaged in combat played dumb on the matter." Well, we'll just pretend they were just playing, won't we? There's another pause, and then Fleet finishes with, "Fleet, out," and shuts off the recorder.

==============================================================================
